1. Scope
Menumi is an online service, provided by Menumi, for creating and publishing digital menus and running a venue's operations: floor, orders, bookings, guests and statistics. The features available depend on the chosen plan.
By creating an account you accept these terms. The service is intended for people who use it for their professional or business activity.
2. Account
- You must provide true, up-to-date details and have the authority to represent the venue you register.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what is done with your account, including by the staff you invite.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, tell us straight away at info@menumi.app.
3. Plans and free trial
The service offers a free plan and paid plans, described on the Pricing page with their features and limits.
Anyone who has never had a subscription can try a paid plan for 14 days. The trial conditions, including any charge when it ends, are shown before you activate it.
4. Payments and renewal
- Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. The prices charged are those shown at the time of purchase, plus applicable taxes.
- If a payment fails, paid features may be suspended and the account may return to the free plan until the payment is settled.
- Any price change is announced in advance and applies from the next renewal.
5. Cancellation and account closure
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the panel. The plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for, then the account moves to the free plan. Amounts already paid are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
You can ask us to close your account by writing to info@menumi.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, notifying you where possible.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- publish content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes third-party rights;
- try to access other people's data or accounts or get around plan limits;
- compromise the security or operation of the service;
- resell the service without a written agreement with us.
7. Your content
The menus, images, texts and data you enter remain yours. You authorise us to store and display them only to provide the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of what you publish, in particular prices, ingredients and allergens. Automatic translations and imports are an aid and must always be checked before publishing.
8. Your guests' data
For the data of your venue's guests collected through the service (bookings, orders, loyalty programmes, guest profiles) you are the data controller. Menumi acts as a data processor and handles it only on your instructions and to run the service.
It is up to you to inform your guests and collect consent where needed.
9. Payments from your guests
Where available, you can take online payments from your guests by connecting your own Stripe account. The payment relationship is between you, your guest and Stripe: Menumi does not collect money on your behalf and is not liable for disputes, refunds or tax obligations arising from your sales.
10. Service availability
We work to keep the service reachable at all times, but we cannot guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors. There may be downtime for maintenance or for reasons beyond our control. We may change or withdraw individual features, giving notice in advance when the change is significant.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Menumi is not liable for indirect damage, such as loss of profit or loss of customers, and its total liability does not exceed what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the event. These limits do not apply in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
12. Intellectual property
The software, brand and content of Menumi remain the property of Menumi. We grant you the right to use them for the life of your account, within the limits of your plan and of these terms.
13. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms. We notify you of significant changes by email or in the panel with reasonable notice: if you keep using the service after the effective date, you accept them. If you disagree, you can cancel.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the place where Menumi has its registered office, except where the law provides for a mandatory forum.
